Last updated: June 26, 2026.

Note for the DIMO team: This is an engineering-authored baseline so the page exists and is linked sitewide. Have it reviewed and finalized by legal counsel before relying on it. Replace this note on publish.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DIMO developer platform, including the APIs, SDKs, Developer Console, and documentation (the "Services") provided by DIMO Network, Inc. By accessing the Services you agree to these Terms.

Use of the Services

You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You are responsible for your applications, your API credentials, and all activity under your account. Keep credentials confidential.

Access to vehicle data is governed by the permissions a vehicle owner grants through the SACD consent model. You must only access and use data within the scopes a user has granted, only for the purposes disclosed to that user, and you must honor revocation promptly. You must maintain your own privacy practices consistent with the GDPR and EU Data Act.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Services: no attempting to access data without permission, no reverse engineering except as permitted by law, no interfering with platform integrity, and no using the Services to violate any person's privacy or rights.

Plans, fees, and changes

Paid plans are billed per the terms shown on the pricing page. We may update the Services and these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a revised date.

Disclaimers and liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. DIMO is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
